The Hon. Clint Camilleri





Clint Camilleri, Minister for Gozo, was born on the 24th of February 1988 to Anton Camilleri and Marlene nee Gauci.

Clint’s family was well involved in politics. His late father contested the Qala local elections whilst his grandfather, Angelo Camilleri (il-Bedeq) was a member of Parliament.

He studied at the Universities of Malta and Kentucky, United States and successfully graduated as Architect and Civil Engineer.

His first involvement in politics was in the Qala Local Council election in 2012 were he was elected as Mayor. 

In 2014, he contested the European Parliament elections and managed to garner 13,484 first count votes but unfortunately failed to be elected by a whisker.

In 2017 he successfully contested the General election and was elected as member of Parliament from the 13th electoral district. He was appointed as Parliamentary Secretary for Agriculture, Fisheries and Animal rights by Prime Minister Joseph Muscat.

In 2020, Clint Camilleri was appointed Minister for Gozo by Prime Minister Robert Abela.

Clint Camilleri is married to Deborah and they have a daughter.
