The Identity Cards Unit within Identity Malta Agency issues electronic Identity Cards to Maltese Citizens and is responsible for the registration of virtual e-ID accounts.
Services
Application forms (ID10) are received on the basis of:
1. First time applicants (14+ years);
2. Requests to change one’s personal and/or address details depicted on the Identity Card;
3. Persons turning 16, 18, 60 and 75 years of age;
4. Persons who declare that their Identity Card has been lost, stolen and damaged.
Maltese Citizens applying for an Identity Card may also apply for an e-ID account when submitting their new Identity Card application form. The e-ID account is required to access online Government services provided by various government departments and entities.

Wednesday from 7:30am to 2:00pm and 3:00pm to 6:00pm
