The Data Input and Validation Section is responsible in inputting birth certificates, marriage certificates and also death certificates from written data to a computerised one. These certificates range from the year of 1863 to 2014 and they belong to Maltese and Gozitan citizens. Following this data input, the Section is also responsible to check the correctness of the material which has already been inputted.
